Usually according to the time of production, storage conditions, degree of damp climate, the rust on the surface of the steel tube can be divided into floating rust, middle rust and heavy rust.
Floating rust: generally with short delivery date, in the open air, only have a small thin rust in the surface of the pipe, can use steel wire brush, sand paper and cotton yarn such manual operation for metallic luster.
Middle rust and heavy rust: long production date and when stored in the open air and multiple transport and shipping distance is relatively long, the pipe surface oxidation corrosion appears and its rusty spot heavier, appear serious scale falling off.
Serious corrosion of pipeline is not suitable for water conveyance system, for large quantities of middle rust pipes, by mechanical method such as sandblasting derusting machine can be used for mechanical descaling to improve labor efficiency and reduce air pollution.
When high anticorrosion quality required or pipes have rust inside and outside the wall, it can adopt the method of chemical cleaning, which can effectively remove the tube outer surface oxide.
Rust removal, no matter adopt what kind of method, should do anti-corrosion layer immediately （coated steel pipe）after derusting to prevent another air oxidation and corrosion.
