The advantages of seamless steel pipe

The advantages of seamless steel tube is with high pressure resistance, good toughness, long tube and less interface. The disadvantage is the high price, easy corrosion, and the service life is short.
(1) general seamless steel pipe
General seamless steel pipe is rolled with ordinary carbon steel, quality carbon steel, low alloy steel and alloy structural steel. Many different specifications, high strength, is a most commonly used pipe in the process pipe, widely used for pipeline working pressure below 1.6MPa. For example, thermal pipe, refrigeration piping, compressed air piping, oxygen pipe, acetylene pipe, and various chemical pipeline in addition to strong corrosive medium.
(2) stainless seamless steel pipe
Stainless seamless steel pipe is made of chromium nickel stainless steel, and divided into hot-rolled and cold-rolled pipe two types. The characteristic is strong acid resistance, corrosion resistance, but the price is expensive, is mainly used for chemical pipe with special requirements.
(3) welded steel pipe for low-pressure fluid transport
Low pressure welded steel pipe conveying fluid is seamed tube, generally made with the Q215-A, Q235-A, Q255-A plain carbon steel. According to surface quality is divided into galvanized and stainless steel (black pipe) two kinds; according to the end of the pipe with threaded or not, can divided into with screw thread and not with thread two kinds; according to the thickness of the tube wall, there are two kinds of ordinary and thickening.
Ordinary steel pipe generally can bear 2.0MPa pressure hydrostatic test, thickened tube can bear 3.0MPa pressure hydrostatic test. General steel pipe and thickened steel pipe can generally used pipe with relative lower medium temperature under working pressure. For example: nominal diameter of no more than 100mm can be no more than 1.0MPa for the working pressure, the medium temperature of indoor heating pipeline is not more than 200 ℃ and steam pipes and hot water pipe; nominal diameter less than 65mm, less than 0.8MPa of the compressed air pipe for working pressure;nominal diameter not greater than 50mm can be used for gas or natural gas and water pipeline etc..
